Bentley’s BIM Advancement Lab Inauguration

On November 21, 2017, a BIM Advancement Lab location was inaugurated at Lovely Professional University (LPU), Jalandhar, Punjab, India.

The ceremony was led by Dr. Lovi Raj Gupta (Executive Dean, LPU) and Vinayak Trivendi (Vice President, Bentley Institute). Also in attendance were Dr. Rajesh Kumar (Dean, Engineering), Dr. Harpal Thethi (Associate Director Training and Placement), Varinder Singh (Deputy Director), Mandeep Kaur (HOD Transportation), Dolonchapa Prabhakar (HOD Structural), Rominder Bedi (CEO, Innovative Systel), Arun Kumar (Manager of Academic Relations, India, Bentley Institute), and Charu Chaudhari (Academic Relations Manager, Bentley Institute).

On November 23, 2017, a BIM Advancement Lab location was inaugurated at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Jammu, India.

The ceremony was led by Dr. Ankur Gupta (Director, MIET) and Vinayak Trivendi (Vice President, Bentley Institute). Also in attendance were Rominder Bedi (CEO, Innovative Systel), Arun Kumar (Manager of Academic Relations, India, Bentley Institute), and Charu Chaudhari (Academic Relations Manager, Bentley Institute). For the occasion, renowned civil engineers for the state--Darshan Gupta (Structural Engineer) and Vinod Malhotra (former Chief Town Planner, Jammu)—spoke about the design of smart cities, and the importance of BIM for all infrastructure assets.
